PODR DOOKOA WIATAAniaVlog [CC-PLENG]

We are taking you for a trip around the world with us. In three months, exactly 97 days, from 21st of June till 25th of September 2017 we travelled around the globe. We journeyed through 55 thousand kilometres, visited 15 countries and took 25 flights. In Dubai we entered 125th floor of Burj Khalifa the tallest building on Earth.

We spent 4 days on a paradise island in the Maldives. We saw how tea leaves are growing. In Thailand we tasted the best street food and the sweetest fruits. In Laos we swam in the beautiful waterfalls spring and ate the most polish bread, you can get in Asia.

In Cambodia we learned to appreciate smallest things, because somewhere there are people who have almost nothing, yet are happy. Singapore made a huge impression on us as the most organized city, weve ever been to. Kuala Lumpur, well... It is there, with the highest twin towers and cool aquarium.

Brunei was the least touristic place we travelled through. Surprisingly everyone could speak English. And everyone was asking us what are you doing here? Bali won our hearts with its atmosphere, Balinese Hinduism, local culture you could observe at every turn and most beautiful water weve ever swam in. In Hong Kong we slept in the room, which was smaller than a cabin on the ferry.

Smaller than the cheapest cabin on the ferry. Without any window. But considering the amount of people in Hong Kong, squeezing so many people in sky-high buildings is not surprising. It is a very crowded place.

In Macau we felt like in an Asian version of Portugal.   In Japan we ate the best sushi in the world. Three times a day, just to be sure. Their respect to work and calmness was stunning.

And of course the junction at Shibuya, which is crossed by thousands of people, every change of lights. We spent almost one month in the USA. When flying through International Date Line we were excited like small kids. Then we understood what a killer jet lag really means.

In San Francisco we had our first polish dish for past two months. In the Death Valley we almost faced the death from heat, same as in whole state of California. In Grand Canyon we waited half night for the sunrise. It took first place ex aequo with Angkor Wat as the most astonishing sunrise, weve ever seen.

Every time we saw the American train, we were surprised how long it could be. In New Orleans at every corner we could listen to good music, see people dancing on the streets and experience great architecture. We ate there Gumbo soup, which looks like mud, but it was totally new taste for us. In New York we did the laundry in the typical American laundromat, we saw the fattest squirrels and enjoyed the greatest Broadway shows.

We are a bit jealous that Americans have Walmart, where you can buy literally everything. After three months we came back to Europe and met with our friends in Lisbon. In Amsterdam we admired tenement houses by the canals and soaked up art. When we left the airport in Warsaw, our hearts almost broke, but on the other hand we finally met our loved ones.

We missed the furry ones probably the most. Travel around the world was the most magical and the most beautiful adventure in our lives..
